Estimates only — not financial advice.
Dividend yields, distributions and share prices are not guaranteed and can change or be cut at any time. These calculators project hypothetical scenarios based on the values you enter; past payments don't guarantee future income.
How this calculator works
Enter the current distribution per share (or your current annual income), the payment frequency, and either your investment amount with share price or the units you hold. Then add one or more cut percentages to compare. The calculator shows the new annual, monthly and weekly income and the annual income lost for each scenario.
Frequently asked questions
What does a 50% cut mean?
It means the distribution per share is reduced by 50%, so each payment is half of what it was. Income scales by the same factor.
Can I compare several cuts at once?
Yes. Add as many percentages as you like, separated by commas, and they're shown side by side in a table and chart.
Why would a dividend be cut?
Companies and funds may cut distributions when earnings, cash flow or NAV fall. This calculator helps you stress-test the income impact.
